On Monday the Pakistan Super League 10 draft (PSL10) was held at Huzoori Bagh which was splendid with cricket stars. All six franchises confirmed their final squads for the upcoming edition.
Lahore Qalandars, who won the PSL for two times, have made a vital decision in the PSL 2025 draft by selecting Daryl Mitchell as their sole platinum pick, while keeping Shaheen Shah Afridi as their captain and Fakhar Zaman in the main category.
The Karachi Kings who were PSL champions in 2020, selected Australia’s opener batsman David Warner, then selecting New Zealand’s Adam Milne and Pakistan’s Abbas Afridi using wild card in the platinum category.
Karachi Kings also utilized the Supplementary rounds of PSL10, where they didn’t select the experienced duo of Kane Williamson and Muhammad Nabi in the platinum and diamond categories respectively.
The Gladiators’ then selected Pakistan’s all-rounder Shoaib Malik in the Supplementary round, who was not selected earlier in his respective category.
Peshawar Zalmi picked English batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore in their sole platinum pick, while Multan Sultans selected New Zealand’s Michael Bracewell Islamabad United opted for Australia’s Matthew Short in their platinum picks.
