DC VS SRH 10th Match Live: Where to Watch, Live Streaming, & Match Preview

Delhi Capitals will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 10th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League on 30th March at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Match Preview:

Delhi Capitals made the perfect start to their IPL 2025 campaign as they snatched the victory from the jaws of defeat in their opener against Lucknow SuperGiants. At one point it was thought LSG would claim the victory but Ashutosh Sharma had other plans.

Now, DC faces another tougher challenge. Although they will be at home while facing the SRH, it is not easy to be at “home” when one faces the top-order which have Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Heinrich Klaasen, and Nitish Kumar Reddy as their top-five.

Delhi can be lucky in terms like they have Mitchell Starc, a bowler Head does not want to face. Last when Head faced the left-arm pacer in the Qualifiers, he scored two ducks.

And in the final, Sharma could not score as well against the pacer.

But this time, Starc would be in different colours, but he would impose the same threat to the fearsome top-order of SRH.

Another good news for Delhi is, KL will be back in the playing XI and is likely to replace Sameer Rizvi at 4.

Although DC have positives while facing SRH, they should know they can’t rely on their lower-order always. Their top-order needs to chip in in the upcoming game to make things easy for the middle and lower order.

Talking about SRH, they had a perfect start to their IPL 2025 campaign when they beat Rajasthan Royals in the opening game but they suffered defeat against LSG and Nicholas Pooran in their second game of the tournament.

SRH will be eager to make a comeback in the tournament and they can exactly do it if Reddy stands up. He will be playing an “away” game but in front of his “home crowd” as he was born in the city, he is going to play.

Reddy will be vital for SRH in the upcoming match and his ability to tackle spin makes him more special. Since the start of 2024, he has an IPL strike rate of 170.19 against the spinners.

Pitch and weather report:

The pitch at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium will expectedly be flat. The hard surface will help batters for easier stroke play, leading to high-scoring affairs. The team winning the toss at this venue should elect to bat first. The previous fixture here witnessed the LSG and DC score a combined 420 runs.

Visakhapatnam will have clear skies for the Sunday clash. The temperatures will hover around 33 degrees Celsius during the day and 26 degrees Celsius at night. Wind speeds will range anywhere from 15 km/h to 30 km/h. The maximum humidity levels should not exceed 85 per cent.

Probable Playing XIIs:

Delhi Capitals: 1 Jake Fraser-McGurk, 2 Faf du Plessis, 3 Abishek Porel (wk), 4 KL Rahul, 5 Axar Patel (capt), 6 Tristan Stubbs, 7 Ashutosh Sharma, 8 Vipraj Nigam, 9 Mitchell Starc, 10 Kuldeep Yadav, 11 Mohit Sharma, 12 Mukesh Kumar/Darshan Nalkande.

Head-to-head record:

In the IPL, DC and SRH have already faced one another 24 times. With 13 victories, SRH leads the head-to-head record, although DC is not far behind with 11.

Prediction:

Although DC will be playing at home, Sunrisers still hold the upper hand to win the upcoming encounter.
