Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings will face each other in the 20th game of the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on 1st May at Gaddafi Stadium.
Match Preview:
It has been a tough season for Multan Sultans so far as they have only won one game. Their playoff chances are slim now and now they face a tough task as they would be facing Karachi Kings in the next encounter.
Multan’s bowling has been full of woes thus far as none other than Ubaid Shah could make a mark for the team. David Willey failed to perform, Usama Mir could not deliver up to the expectations, Chris Jordan was expensive and MS terribly missed a proper all-rounder in the team as Curtis Campher and Turner could not impress.
Batting has been decent for the side but barring Mohammad Rizwan, Yasir Khan, and Kamran Ghulam, the batters failed to make a statement. Although their playoff chances are slim, however, the side would try to regroup and win some games before it is too late.
Talking about Karachi Kings, the side have won three games and lost three as well. In their last game they won a close game against Quetta Gladiators by just 5 runs. However, Karachi has got a balanced side and they will be in confidence to beat the side again as they chased 235 against the same team.
Khushdil Shah and Hassan Ali have been the mainstay of the team. James Vince and Tim Seifert have been on fleek as well. Only concern for Karachi is that their captain is yet to make a mark in this ongoing season of the PSL. Although his side has performed time and again, hopefully, Warner gets his groove back until it’s too late for him and his side.
