WI VS AUS 5th T20i Live: Where to Watch. Match Preview, & Live Streaming

The fifth and last match of the ongoing T20i series will be played on 29th July at Warner Park in St. Kitts

Match Preview:

Even though the series is essentially set, the fifth and final T20 International between Australia and the West Indies is sure to be an emotional matchup. With a combination of relentless purpose, disciplined bowling, and polished batting, Australia has dominated the trip and taken a 4-0 lead. Meanwhile, the hosts are facing the prospect of a whitewash on their own territory. For the West Indies, this final game is more about regaining momentum, restoring pride, and testing their bench strength in preparation for upcoming international games than it is about saving the series.

The Australians have been unrelenting. The series’ best player, Cameron Green, has shown off his versatility by hitting hard at the top and remaining composed under pressure. He appears to have total command of the West Indies attack and has already hammered more than 170 runs at a scorching strike rate.

With a devastating 47 off 18 balls in the fourth Twenty20 International, Glenn Maxwell, who replaced Travis Head as opener, has also shown everyone how destructive he is. Rested for the fifth game, Tim David ignited the series earlier with a stunning century off just 37 balls, demonstrating the strength and depth of Australia’s lineup. Additionally, their bowlers led by Adam Zampa have performed well.

Conversely, the West Indies have appeared to be a team struggling for consistency. Their sole reliable batsman has been Shai Hope, who has scored runs with ease and even recorded a century in the third Twenty20 International. Regretfully for the hosts, others have hardly ever endorsed his comments.

The team has suffered greatly as a result of captain Rovman Powell and Sherfane Rutherford’s failure to turn starts into game-winning knocks, despite their brief bursts of form. Only Jason Holder has demonstrated leadership and control in the bowling department, which has lacked penetration and discipline. They have also had inconsistent fielding, which has been made worse by squandered opportunities and careless groundwork.

If anything, the West Indies would hope to win the last game of the series to start the upcoming series against Pakistan with some confidence.

Pitch and weather report:

The last game will be played at Warner Park in St. Kitts, where the pitch is anticipated to be another level surface that is advantageous to the hitters. There will probably be another high-scoring match because of the warm weather and short boundaries. Teams pursuing have historically performed well at this location, so the toss could be crucial once more.
